Rawalpindi: Adnan Khawaja gets bail
RAWALPINDI: As reported by the Dawn News on Thursday, Adnan A. Khawaja, a former managing director of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) who was arrested and sent to Adiyala Jail by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, was released within 24 hours on Wednesday. The apex court had ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to arrest Khawaja and former head of Intelligence Bureau Brig (retd) Imtiaz Ahmed. Khawaja was released from jail at 10pm after the apex court accepted his bail against two surety bonds of Rs500,000 each. One was submitted by his wife and the other one by Amir Mansoor.
