Customs agent shot dead in Karachi
Karachi: According to The News, the president of the Customs Clearing Forwarding Association was gunned down in the Jackson police limits on Thursday. Sadruddin alias Sallu, 50, was shot dead when an armed man opened fire on him near the Custom House in the Jackson police jurisdiction while he was sitting inside his Cuore car (ARD-474) and fled. After hearing the gunshots area people and some Custom employees rushed to the spot. They immediately informed the police who shifted the body to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities. SP Keamari Tariq Mughal said that Sadruddin was shot at 8:00pm when he came out of his office situated in the Custom House after duty. Abdul manuf, 35, was shot dead near Johar Chowrangi by unidentified armed motorcyclists in the Sharae Faisal police limits. He was sitting outside his residence when came under attack. His body was taken to the JPMC for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, a bullet-riddled body of a young man was found in the Sharafi Goth police limits. The body of the 28-year-old was found in the Malir River near Azeem Pura.
