Bara: 2 militants among 92 arrested
BARA: According to The Nation, The security forces arrested 92 persons including two militant commanders during search operation in different areas of Bara tehsil in Khyber Agency on Sunday, official sources said. The sources said the security forces conducted raids in Mandi Kas in the morning and arrested Fazal Mohammad, an important militant commander and member of the Shura of banned organisation Lashkar-e-Islam along with his nephew and son from his house. Later, the security forces demolished the house of the commander and shifted him to the Shakas FC fort for investigation. Fazal Muhammad, hailing from the Sepah tribe, was stated to be the caretaker of the mosques in Sepah area. The sources said that during search operation in Speen Dhand area, the security forces arrested Muhammad Amin, a commander of the outlawed Amr Bil Maroof Wa Nahi Anil Munkar (Promotion of virtue and prevention of vice) organisation in injured condition after he was shot in the arm by the security forces while he was trying to escape from the scene. He was shifted to the FC’s Fort Salop camp where he is under treatment. The sources said the security forces conducted operation in Arjaleen Adey, Mandikas, Nala and Speen Dhand areas of Bara tehsil and arrested 92 suspected persons including the two commanders.
