Lahore: Man shot dead over domestic issue
LAHORE: According to The News, a 26-year-old man was shot dead by his brothers-in-law over some domestic issue in the jurisdiction of Shafiqabad police on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Sharif Khan, a resident of Bund Road. Police said the victim’s two sisters were married to two brothers Younis Khan and Jan Muhammad a few months back. The victim’s sisters left the house of their in-laws over a domestic issue and started living with their parents. The elders from the two sides attempted to settle the issue but in vain. On the day of the incident, victim Sharif was standing outside his house when accused Younis, Jan Muhammad and two others shot and injured him and fled. The injured was removed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case against the accused persons on the complaint of the deceased’s father Abdual Jabbar. The body was shifted to morgue for autopsy.
