Karachi: 1 succumb to target-killing spree
KARACHI: As reported by The Nation on Wednesday, one person was gunned down in incident of target killing on Tuesday. According to details, a contractor was gunned down near Lal Qilla Grammar School North Karachi in the limits of Sir Syed police station. DSP Altaf Hussain said the deceased 40-year-old M Rafiq son of Fazalur Rehman was going to drop children in school. When they reached Lal Qilla Grammar School an armed man on motorcycle ambushed him and opened firing on him and fled away. Rafiq sustained injuries and succumbed to his wounds after a few moments. Police shifted his body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities, Hussain added.
