Karachi: Customs seize 200gms heroin
KARACHI: As reported by the Daily Times on Thursday, two hundred grams of high quality heroin was recovered from a parcel at Jinnah Terminal, the Pakistan Customs’ Drug Enforcement Cell claimed on Wednesday. A courier package was booked from Rawalpindi for an address in Sydney, Australia. The contents of the parcel were declared as sports items, but a thorough search resulted in the recovery of 200 grams of high quality heroin concealed in four pairs of locally manufactured shin pads. A prosecution case under the Customs Act of 1969 has been registered in this regard.
