Restaurants and banquet halls ticketed in Lahore
LAHORE: According to the Dawn News on Friday, the food squad of the City District Government of Lahore on Thursday imposed fine on 93 restaurants, hotels, banquet halls, sweets, milk, juice and Paan shops, bakeries and general stores primarily because of unhygienic conditions. As many as 157 samples of food items were collected from these outlets near Kalma Chowk, Barkat Market of Garden Town, Gulshan-i-Ravi, Montgomery Road, Gunpat Road, Paan Mandi of Anarkali, Ravi Road, Baghbanpura, Madina Colony, New Shadbagh, Jallo Mor, Sirajpura, Rang Mahal and Begum Kot of Shahdara. The managements of these outlets were told to improve sanitary condition and obtain licences or face action. The banquet halls included Qasr-i-Noor, Qasr-i-Zauq, Qasr-i-Nayyab, Marhaba, Al-Quresh, Zauj, Pir Makki, Al-Kausar, Amna, Lal Haveli, Jalal, Sapphire Shadi Halls, Urooj Banquet Hall, Noor Mahal Event Complex, Paradise, Nayyab, Zareen Mahal, Akbar-i-Azam, New Shahnai Palace, Uroosa, Hasan Marriage Halls and Baradari Marriage Garden. The eateries included Domino Pizza, Allah Hoo, Afzal, Lala Akbar, Jumma hotels, King Chargha, Rahman Restaurant, Chacha Basa Sweets, Baba Tikkianwala, Lahore Pathooray, Nasr Gosht Murgh Chanay, factory of Muraba Jaat, Rahat, Fareed milk shops, Shama Lassi Corner and Nafees Kasuri Faluda. Other outlets were Allah Ditta Kiryana Store and Arshad and Sabir Paan shops.
