4 down in Quetta killing spree
QUETTA: As reported by the Dawn News on Monday, two local leaders of the Balochistan National Party (Awami) and two other people were killed in incidents of firing in Turbat and Quetta on Sunday.
BNP-A leaders Mullah Abdul Latif and Mohammad Aslam were travelling in a pick-up when gunmen on a motorbike opened fire at them near Tutak area of Turbat, sources said.
The two men died and a woman travelling with them was injured.
Security personnel took the bodies and the injured to the Turbat Civil Hospital. The cause of the attack could not be ascertained.
Mohammad Ishaq Lehri and Mansoor Lehri were gunned down by unidentified attackers near Irrigation Colony on Sariab Road in Quetta.
Police suspected tribal enmity behind the attack and said investigation was underway.
