GHALANAI: As reported by the Dawn News on Tuesday, a security man was killed in a roadside explosion in Safi tehsil of Mohmand tribal region on Monday. Official sources said security personnel were on a routine patrolling when a landmine planted by militants along the roadside went off resulting in the killing of sepoy Ilyas, a resident of Nowshera. Locals said the activities of militants increased for last few weeks. They said a government-run middle school was blown up a couple of days ago in the same locality.
