Islamabad: Negligent doctor booked
ISLAMABAD: As reported by The Nation on Tuesday, the city police booked unidentified doctors of Capital Development Authority Hospital allegedly for not treating an infant properly that caused his death.
Zafar Iqbal, father of three-day-old child, lodged his application with Aabpara Police Station, wherein he alleged that doctors of CDA Hospital didn’t treat his three day-old baby properly and their sheer negligence led to the death of the baby.
He further told the police that during the delivery of his child doctors carelessly conducted operation of his wife and they hit his child with instruments. Subsequently the infant died after three days.
Talking to TheNation, ASI Shakeel Ahmed said, “We are probing into the matter. We are conducting autopsy of the deceased from PIMS and its report is yet to be issued. After seeing the report I would be able to say any thing on this issue,” he added.
Meanwhile, police registered a case against all concerned doctors under Section 332/34.
