Islamabad: 7 criminals apprehended
Islamabad: As reported by the Pakistan Obersever on Wednesday, Islamabad Police have arrested seven persons for their alleged involvement in drug peddling, possessing illegal weapons and recovered five wine bottles, 28 cans of beer, hashish and three pistols from their possession.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Ghulam Abbass of Golra police station arrested Gul Badin and Zayaq for their alleged involvement in theft case and recovered stolen items worth Rs. 10,000 from their possession. On a tip off, Station House Officer of Kohsar police station Inspector Mehr Munawar arrested an accused Abdul Hamid and recovered five wine bottles and 28 cans of beer from his possession.
Inspector Abdul Razaq from CIA arrested Rab Nawaz and Liaqat Ali for having illegal weapons and recovered two 30 bore pistols and seven rounds from them. Sub-Inspector Arshad Mehmud from Koral police station arrested Tahir Raza during routine patrolling and recovered 117 gram hashish from his possession while ASI Shahid Zaman arrested an accused Adil Rasheed for possessing 30 bore pistol and five rounds.
