Islamabad: Saudi embassy’s worker shot dead
ISLAMABAD: As reported by the Dawn News on Wednesday, two persons, including a local employee of Saudi embassy, were murdered in separate incidents here on Tuesday, police said. Mohammad Ayoub, lower staff of Saudi embassy, was gunned down and his wife shot and injured by a group of four persons after they forcibly entered their house. The police said that the incident took place at Frash Town.
The culprits held up the inmates at gunpoint, but Ayoub put up resistance which annoyed the attackers and they fired multiple shot at him. The attackers also fired bullet at his wife, Parveen Bibi, when she rushed towards her husband.
The couple received two bullets each and fell on the ground while the attackers escaped from the scene leaving both of them in a pool of blood. Both were shifted to hospital where Ayoub was pronounced dead while Parveen Bibi was operated upon and kept in the hospital where her condition was stable.
