KARACHI: As reported by The News on Thursday, a man became the victim of target killing on Wednesday.
Police said that Fareedullah Mehsud was shot dead while his brother Inayatullah and security guard Aslam were injured at their shop located near Disco Bakery in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Police limits.
On late Tuesday night, the three men were present at Fareed’s shop called Fareed General Store. Two armed motorcyclists came and opened indiscriminate fire at the men and fled from the spot.
The injured were rushed to the hospital where Fareed succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Inayatullah and Aslam survived the attack.
Police said that the deceased’s shop was earlier torched by unidentified miscreants during the spate of target violence.
