Rawalpindi: Murderer sentenced to death
RAWALPINDI: As reported by the Dawn News on Thursday, an additional district and session’s judge on Wednesday handed down death sentence to a man for killing his neighbour over a petty issue. Judge Raja Pervaiz Akhtar convicted Muhammad Imran for killing Muhammad Amjad and handed him death sentence.
The court also directed the convict to pay Rs200, 000 as compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased and in case of failure he had to undergo six months imprisonment. The court, however, acquitted another man in the case. The court found no evidence against Manzoor Hussain.
