Lahore: 22-yr-old murdered for ‘honour’
LAHORE: As reported by the Dawn News on Monday, a 22-year-old youth was shot dead allegedly by three armed men in the name of honour in Nishtar Colony police precincts on Sunday. Hafiz Allah Wasaya, of Ghosia Colony, was asleep in an under-construction seminary when three armed men shot at him and fled the scene. He was rushed to hospital where he died before treatment.
The police said one of the suspects, Tanveer Ahmad, had a grudge against Wasaya suspecting him of an affair with his sister. On Sunday, Tanveer, Azam and Mahmood killed Wasaya, the police said, adding a case was registered against them.
