Karachi: CID releases suicide bombers’ photos
KARACHI: As reported by the Dawn News on Tuesday, the Crime Investigation Department of police on Monday released the snapshots of two suspected suicide bombers involved in the twin blasts at the shrine of Syed Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA) on Oct 7.
At least nine people were killed and 65 others wounded in the blasts at the entrance and stairs of the shrine, located in Clifton.
The CID, which has been investigating the case, released the photos of the severed heads of the suspected suicide bombers.
The investigators appealed to the people to provide any information to police if they identified the photos.
They also urged the people to share any information that could help in the investigation and in tracing the whereabouts of the suspected suicide bombers.
There has been no worthwhile development in the investigation of the twin suicide bombings so far. While CCPO Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari speaking at a press conference claimed that there was some positive development in the investigation, he did not share any information with the media.
