Karachi: Double-murder accused sent to police custody
Karachi: As reported by The News on Wednesday, Judicial Magistrate (JM) South, Hatim Aziz, sent a suspect on remand to police custody till October 13 in an alleged double murder case on August 25, 2010 within the jurisdiction of the Kharadar police station. JM South handed Hafeezullah alias Baba to police custody in a case pertaining to double murder of Abdul Azeem and Abbas Wali, while his three other accomplices Nisar Ahmed and two unknown were absconding.
According to the prosecution Hafeezullah and his three accomplices riding on two motorcycles were prowling the area shopkeepers that both of them resisted. Consequently, they opened fire near Akhwand Masjid Kharadar which directly hit their heads and they succumbed to their injuries.
An FIR 555/2010 under section 397(robbery or dacoity with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt) 302(premeditated murder) 34(common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) was registered against them in the Kharadar police station on the complaint of Rashid Sharif brother of Azeem.
