Lahore: Medicines seized in Badami Bagh
LAHORE: As reported by the Dawn News on Wednesday, a team of the Chief Minister’s Task Force on Spurious Drugs, along with drug inspectors, on Tuesday raided two houses in Badami Bagh and recovered medicines stolen from various hospitals worth Rs5 million.
Task force chairman Dr Saeed Elahi supervised the operation and said these medicines were stolen from government hospitals of Lahore and other cities. He said two suspects, Arshad and Shah Jee, had been arrested.
He said an exhaustive probe would be conducted to unmask the faces behind the crime.
