MINGORA: According to the Dawn News on Sunday, two militants were killed in exchange of fire with security forces in Asharay area of Swat valley on Saturday.
Sources said that security forces got information that three suspected militants were trying to enter Asharay village of tehsil Matta. They said that security forces launched a search operation in the area and exchanged fire with militants.
Two militants identified as Mian Rahim Shah of Bara Drushkhela and Qamar Ali of Gul Shah were killed during the operation while their third accomplice was arrested. The arrested militant was shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation, sources added.
