Gujrat: 2 cousins, 4 gunned down in separate incidents
GUJRAT: According to the Dawn News, four people, including two cousins, were gunned down in three incidents in the district during the last 24 hours.
Reports said that some unidentified people shot at cousins Ishfaq Bhatti and Iqbal Bhatti near Saman Pindi village in the limits of Kunjah police when they were returning home on a motorbike.
They were rushed to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed hospital in critical condition but they could not survive. Police registered a case against unidentified accused on the report of Muhammad Boota, the father of deceased Iqbal. The complainant told police that the deceased did not have any enmity.
In the second incident, Malik Zaraat Awan was gunned down and his nephew Malik Abid Awan injured by their rivals over an old enmity in Khohar village of Sara-i-Alamgeer police precincts on Sunday.
Police registered the case against Muhammad Ilyas and his nine accomplices. In yet another incident in Keeranwala village of Kunjah police, some unidentified men shot dead Bahadar Khan, 50, when he was sleeping in his house on Saturday night
