ISLAMABAD: As reported by The News on Tuesday, one of the six foreigners, arrested by the Islamabad Police on October 14 on charges of immoral activities, is also wanted by the Interpol as a red notice was issued for his alleged involvement in human smuggling, a police spokesman said.
He said that the Islamabad Police arrested five foreign women and a man riding in a car (LEJ-4508) on October 14 as they failed to produce any document to prove their identity. They entered Pakistan illegally and later got involved in immoral activities, he said.
The arrested persons were identified as Zareefa Babyeva, Shabnam, Elwa, Seelana, Ayesha and Mirdamat Babayeva. It was revealed that all of them were living in House no. 139, Street 35, Chaklala Scheme-III. The nabbed driver and a woman belong to Azerbaijan and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been informed about their arrest for further legal action.
It has been revealed that they used to cheat women from Central Asian Republics and bring them to Pakistan. Here they used to force them to work as prostitutes.
