Rangers apprehends 86 suspects from Karachi
KARACHI: As reported by the Daily Times on Wednesday, at least 86 suspects have been arrested from different parts of the city during raids and snap checking by the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh).
According to a spokesman of the Rangers released on Tuesday, arms and ammunitions were also recovered from the suspects. The accused were handed over to the concerned police stations after initial interrogation, the spokesman said.
It may be mentioned here that Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik had held extensive meeting on Monday with the high ups of the law enforcing agencies, including the IGP Sindh and DG Rangers, to curb lawlessness in Karachi during his visit to the metropolis.
