Lahore: Forex dealer remanded for 14 days
LAHORE: The News reported on Thursday, an accountability court on Wednesday granted 14-day physical remand of Muhammad Mansoor Khan, the owner of M/s Chase Gold International and accused of embezzling Rs.16.38 million, to National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Punjab.
On Wednesday, NAB authorities produced the said accused before the accountability judge and sought his physical remand to carryout investigation.
The court granted physical remand of the accused and directed the NAB authorities to produce him again before the court by November 3.
NAB had arrested Mansoor Khan on Tuesday. According to the reference details, an investigation was authorised by NAB against Mansoor on complaints filed by affectees of his company.
It was alleged that he induced general public for investment in foreign currency on exaggerated profits and collected Rs 16.38 million from 32 investors.
