GHALANAI: According to the Dawn News on Thursday, six militants, an Afghan national among them, were killed and another was injured in a clash with security forces in Safi tehsil of Mohmand Agency late on Tuesday night.
Sources said the gunbattle that continued for two hours followed an attack on a security post in Aleengar area.
The militants killed were identified as Sarzamin, Sher Rehman, Gulab, Mohammad Jan (Aleengar), Shamsher (Swat) and Gul Zarin, who came from Kunar province of Afghanistan.
The injured militant was identified as Laiq Jan, a resident of Bajaur Agency.
