Karachi: Fir lodged against mobsters in Shershah killing case
KARACHI: As reported by the Dawn News on Friday, an FIR of the Shershah scrap market carnage was lodged on Thursday night after a passage of over 48 hours in which suspects said to be associated with the Rehman Dakait group have been nominated, police officials said.
At least 12 people were killed and six others wounded when about 10 armed suspects carried out the firing in the Shershah scrap market on Tuesday evening. The case (FIR 578/2010) under Sections 302, 324, 386 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code and 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act was lodged at the Pak Colony police station on the complaint of a survivor, Mohammad Nafees, son of Haji Abdul Majeed.
The complainant, a resident of Mehmoodabad, nominated Noor Mohammad alias Baba Ladla and 16 other associates of the slain Rehman Dakait in the FIR.
