Lahore: LHC directs police to recover kidnapped girl
LAHORE: As reported by the Daily Times on Friday, LHC Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif on Thursday ordered the police to recover an abducted young girl. The CJ expressed concern over police failure in recovery of the girl, who had been missing for the last four months. He directed the Model Town SP to make all out efforts for the recovery of the girl and appear in the court by November 5.
Model Town division SP (Investigation) Abdul Rab on Thursday appeared before the court and presented a report about efforts police had been taking to recover the girl. Sharif expressed his dissatisfaction over the report, observing that the case had been registered four months ago, but it seemed that nobody was bothered to recover the girl.
