Rawalpindi: 4 human smugglers held
RAWALPINDI: As reported by the Daily Times on Friday, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Passport Cell apprehended four human smugglers during a raid at a hotel on Thursday.
Passports, bogus visas, fake stamps and other illegal documents were recovered from their possession.
All the four were found looting people belonged to remote areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They swindled innocent that they would be sent abroad. They would charge heavy fees from the people who intended to go abroad.
On a tip–off, FIA constituted a special team that raided at a hotel near Raja Bazaar and arrested four persons including Liaqat Ali, Abdul Sattar, Ibrahim Peshawar and Umer Ali alias Mast.
FIA confiscated six passports, fake visas of certain European countries, several bogus stamps and a bunch of illicit documents from the room of the accused.
Later the FIA officials presented them before the court and received physical remand.
