7 killed in Lahore shootout
Lahore: According to the Pakistan Observer, at least seven persons were gunned down in two separate firing incidents here on Sunday, police said. The first incident occurred here in Harbanspura when four persons were gunned down over personal enmity. The deceased identified as Sarfaraz, Murtaza Shah, Ashraf and Tariq.
According to police, they were personal guards of a gang chief, Shahid Khan, who also sustained bullet injuries in the incident. Police shifted injured Khan to a nearby hospital and launched inquiry into the incident.
The second firing incident happened in Township area at a marriage hall. A drunken man, Azam Malik, opened indiscriminate fire at the wedding party, killing three persons on the spot.
