MINGORA: As reported by the Dawn News on Monday, at least five suspected militants were killed during a search operation launched in Matta Tehsil of Swat District on Sunday.
Two militants were killed in crossfire when security personnel raided a house in Kharerai area after receiving a tip.
In Chapryal, three militants were killed in a clash during a search of the area, also launched on the basis of a tip. A large cache of arms was seized.
The killed militants were Haidar Ali of Kharerai, Mian Bakhtzada of Sambat, Meraj Gul of Gojar Banr, Naeem Shah of Neelagram and Abdul Jabbar of Owesha Matta.
