ISLAMABAD: As reported by the Daily Times on Tuesday, police on Monday arrested six outlaws from various areas of city and recovered hashish, illicit weapons from their possession. A police spokesman said that Nilore Police Station Station House Officer (SHO) Fazalur Rehman and his team arrested Nasir Mehmud, Raja Humayun, and Sultan Mehmud for their alleged involvement in a dacoity. Three pistols and rounds were recovered from them. Nilore police also arrested an accused Gul Nawaz and recovered a pistol and four rounds from his possession.
Meanwhile, Secretariat Police Station ASI Tariq Javed arrested an accused Tahir Abbas during routine patrolling and recovered a dagger from his possession. Koral Police Station Sub-Inspector Muneer Ahmed arrested a woman drug pusher Nazmeena Bibi and recovered 1.5 Kg hashish from her possession.
