Islamabad: Kidnapped man killed after being tortured
ISLAMABAD: As reported by the Dawn News on Tuesday, a builder who was kidnapped on Monday night was found dead in the capital’s posh sector on Tuesday, police said, believing he was killed in revenge after torture. The body of Rahmatullah Khan, 30, was found when passersby spotted it in the green belt in F-10/3. The police shifted the body to the hospital.
They said the victim was severely tortured, adding that he was repeatedly hit on his head and neck with the butt of a weapon. Police believed that he was tortured in revenge. According to the autopsy report, the victim was killed on the night between Monday and Tuesday, saying the cause of death was head injuries with a blunt weapon. The victim had severe injuries on head and the lower parts of his body.
