Karachi: Young man gunned down during argument
KARACHI: As reported by the Dawn News on Wednesday, a young man was gunned down in the SITE area on Tuesday. The area police said that the 38-year-old Nisar received a single bullet to his head in the attack by one of the two persons who had come to see him on a motorbike.
“The incident occurred near Pathan Colony, where Nisar was standing with some friends,” said an official at the Site-A police station. “Two men on a motorbike came to see him and all the three then walked up to the edge of the service road in the locality. After a brief argument with him, one of the visitors fired a single shot that hit Nisar in the head.”
He died on the spot and the bikers escaped from the scene, said the official, adding that the body was later shifted to the Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police suspected some personal enmity behind the murder. “The victim hailed from Swat and was employed in a bus transport company as driver. The company operates buses between Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. The killing seems to be a result of some personal enmity as the arguments between the victim and the assailants suggested that they knew each other.”
