Karachi: Man killed by brother, cousin over property
KARACHI: As reported by the Dawn News on Tuesday, a young man was killed just seconds after he came out of a mosque in SITE area after morning prayers on Monday allegedly by his younger brother because of an old property dispute, police said.
They said 33-year-old Shirin Latif was shot at least two bullets by an armed pillion-rider outside the mosque near Shabbir Eye Hospital in Metroville within the remit of the Site-A police station. “The victim sustained bullet wounds each on the chest and the head and died on the spot,” said an official at the Site-A police station.
The police registered an FIR (No.862) under Sections 302 (premeditated murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code against his younger brother Rahman Latif and a paternal cousin Naik Muhammad on the complaint of Islam Latif, the elder brother of both the victim and the accused.
