Kohat: Remote controlled blast wounds 6 persons
KOHAT: As reported by the Dawn News on Tuesday, at least six persons were injured in a remote controlled bomb blast in Frontier Region of Kohat on Monday. Sources said that terrorists had planted the remote controlled explosive device near an unmanned Khasadar checkpost in Jawaki area of FR Kohat. The device went off when a passenger vehicle was passing through it, they added.
The local residents said that six persons including Abdur Rehman, the driver of the vehicle, received injuries in the blast. Nobody was killed in the incident, they added. They said that government and army left them in the lurch after they formed armed lashkar to fight militants. They demanded that political administration should deploy Khasadar in the area to maintain peace.
