Nowshera: Police arrest 632 criminals, recover weapons
NOWSHERA: As reported by The News on Tuesday, police on Monday claimed to have arrested 632 outlaws and recovered weapons from their possession during a crack down against criminals in the area. Talking to reporters, District Police Officer Nisar Khan Tanoli said the arrested persons included 157 proclaimed offenders.
The cop said during the search operation, police recovered 10 lifted cars and seized 10,000 detonators, 1,250 bomb-fuses, 89 rifles, 42 guns, 335 pistols, 268 kilograms of hashish, 500 gram heroin, 165 bottles of liquor, 5,761 rounds and two handgrenades.
