CIA bust kidnappers gang in Lahore
LAHORE: According to the The News, the Organized Crime CIA have arrested 12 persons belonging to three gangs involved in various kidnap-for-ransom cases and recovered ransom money of Rs 50.37 million from them.
Police have also seized five cars, fake number plates, police uniforms, four Kalashnikovs, 300 bullets, 16 magazines and four pistols from their possession. According to details, Capital City Police Officer Muhammad Aslam Tareen and SSP Investigation Zulifqar Hameed directed CIA SP Muhammad Umar Virk to arrest those persons involved in crimes of kidnap-for-ransom, robbery and vehicle-snatching.
A special team, supervised by the CIA SP, arrested 12 members of three different criminals’ gangs who, during initial investigation, confessed to committing 32 acts of heinous crimes.
