Lahore: 12 outlaws involved in kidnapping, killing caught by CIA
LAHORE: As reported by the Daily Times on Wednesday, the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) has arrested 12 culprits belonging to three different gangs involved in kidnapping and have seized Rs 60 million ransom money, five cars, number plates, police uniforms and weapons.
In addition to kidnappings for ransom, the culprits used to commit dacoities and snatch vehicles. Three proclaimed offenders are also included among the arrested culprits.
During initial investigations, these culprits revealed kidnapping and killing of Naseem Ahmed and his driver Irshad Ahmed along with their car, kidnapping for ransom of Dr Muhammad Arshad and his driver Khalil Ahmed along with their BMW vehicle and extorting ransom of Rs 60 million, kidnapping for ransom of Hafiz Khalid Sethi from Sialkot for the ransom of Rs 10.5 million, kidnapping for ransom of Muhammad Ishfaq of Faislabad, kidnapping two brothers from Faislabad and later killing them for non-payment of ransom and kidnapping a trader of Saeed Colony Faislabad, along with committing other 32 heinous crimes in the areas of Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala and Faislabad.
The criminals are history-sheeters and 32 cases had also been traced against them in police station Naekapora district Sialkot, police station Sabzazar, Township, police station Jhang Bazar Faislabad, Factory Area, Green Town, Shafiqabad, Defence B, Chung, Garden Town and police station Madina Town Faislabad.
