Rawalpindi: Pathologist’s wife found dead
RAWALPINDI: As reported by the Dawn News on Tuesday, a doctor’s wife was found dead in her house at Lane 5, Peshawer Road, on Monday, police said. Ms Yasmin Sami, 45, wife of Dr Sami was found lying on the floor of her bed room by her two daughters.
First Ms Yasmin was removed to a nearby private clinic where the doctors pronounced her dead but later her body was shifted to the Fauji Foundation Hospital (FFH) where her husband Dr Sami is posted as a pathologist. However, Dr Sami had been abroad these days.
The doctors at the FFH advised an autopsy for the victim to ascertain the real cause of her death as there had been some blue marks on her neck and face. “There are two blue marks on her neck and face. The postmortem is being carried out to ascertain the real cause of her death,” the IO said. The police said they would register a case only after the postmortem report is received.
