Hyderabad: 3 police officials booked for murder
HYDERABAD: As reported by the Dawn News on Wednesday, a sub-inspector, an ASI and a police constable were booked in a murder case at Husri police station, following the death of a villager late on Tuesday night. Saleem Jhanjhano, resident of the village of Jhanjhano, died in a controversial police encounter.
His heirs, who held a protest outside the DPO office here on Wednesday, said that he had left home after having dinner and only after 15 minutes, his body was found in the village. His father Mohammad Saleh and uncle Abdul Aziz told journalists that they had been informed that police had gunned down Saleem Jhanjhano, threw his body in the village and fled.
