Pakpattan: Dacoits deprive citizens of cash, valuables
PAKPATTAN: As reported by The News on Wednesday, cash and valuables were taken away in many hits, police said here on Tuesday. Saddique and his colleague of Chak Nagar were going on a bike to purchase animals when five dacoits intercepted them and snatched cash and cellphones worth over Rs 57,000. Three dacoits entered the house of Suriya Bibi at Mohallah Karim Pura looted 25 tolas of gold ornaments. Police have started investigation. Three thieves stole 60-litre diesel worth Rs 404,500 from the house of Umar Farooq of Chak 80-D.
Thieves broke roof of Azhar Abbas of Al-bar colony and stole cash and other valuables worth Rs 30,000. Mujahid Ali parked his bike at Adha Rag Shah, which was stolen. Guests stole gold ornaments, bike, cash and cell phones. Five accused including Saleem came to the house of Khuda Bakhsh at chak 163 EB as a guest. He mixed some intoxicants in a tea, which fainted the host. Later, he took away gold and silver ornaments. Police have registered separate cases.
