Peshawar: 3 kidnappers apprehended
PESHAWAR: The Dawn News reported on Sunday, police claimed on Saturday to have recovered two people and arrested three kidnappers including a woman from parts of Peshawar.
SSP City circle Syed Hamaad Abid said that a businessman Murad Khan of Yakatoot had been kidnapped on Sept 29 and his kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs20 million for his release.
“The kidnappers used to talk to his family members from their phones and police traced the accused through the phone numbers,” he said and added that during a raid one of the accused Shahid of Surizai was arrested and the captive was recovered from a house in the area.
In another incident a student Samiullah of Kakshal was kidnapped on Nov 5 and kept in a house in the same area.
The SSP said that a woman Hassan Zeba of Badbher and Shehzad of Sardheri Charsadda were arrested and the student was recovered from Bala Mani.
