Attock: Police officials punished for misconduct
ATTOCK: According to the Dawn News, two former SHOs and 15 other police officials were punished for misconduct and poor performance. A press release issued by the police said on the directive of DPO Dr Akhtar Abbas, two year service of former SHO Rangu Inspector Khalid Mehmood and one year service of ex-SHO Basal Inspector Aurangzeb Khan had been forfeited for their poor performance during their posting in the police stations.
Similarly, one year increments of four SIs – Nawab Khan, Muhahad Sabir, Rashid Iqbal and Ilyas Ahmed – were stopped along with censure due to their inefficiency. A constable, Barik Anees has been removed from service due to his poor service record and absenteeism. As many as 10 constables were also punished for absenteeism. However, show-cause notices issued to constables Amanat Ali, Irfan, Mohammad Ramzan and Saqib Shehzad have been withdrawn.
