ALPURI: As reported by the Dawn News on Wednesday, two local activists of Pakistan Muslim League-Q were shot dead by unidentified persons in separate incidents here on Tuesday in Martung tehsil of Shangla district. According to eyewitnesses, unidentified persons opened firing on Abdul Batin in his hujra in Martung Khas area. He was killed on the spot. The attackers targeted him from a ventilator of the hujra, they said.
Another leader of PML-Q, Sadbar, was shot dead outside his house in Bilgram area of Martung. He also died on the spot. The attackers managed escaped after the incident. Police registered cases against unidentified persons and started investigation. PML-Q provincial president MNA Amir Muqam attended the funeral prayers of both the slain leaders of his party.
