Islamabad: Afghan family arrested with fake passport
ISLAMABAD: As reported by the Dawn News on Thursday, an Afghan family was arrested at Benazir International Airport on Wednesday on the charge of travelling on fake passports, sources said. The family hailing from Kabul was intercepted by a team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)’s immigration wing when it was about to board Finland-bound Etihad Airlines flight (EY-232).
During verification of their Finnish passports, the bio-data page was found forged. Mohammad Hamid Hakimi, his wife Farishta and children Fakhra, Sumaya and Muhadisa were taken into custody and shifted to the passport cell.
