Lahore: 250 people looted last week
LAHORE: As reported by The News on Thursday, robbers looted over 250 citizens during the first week of November and deprived them of cash, valuables, motorcycles and cars worth millions of rupees.
The stealing/snatching of 40 motorcycles and 30 cars are amongst the reported incidents.
The Model Town Division Police Station proved to be the worst area with 55 reported incidents of crime against property, with snatching/theft of five motorcycles and eight cars.
Nishtar Colony Police proved a safe heaven for robbers as they committed street crimes and house robberies to their satisfaction.
The City Division Police was on second number, with 11 motorcycles and two cars snatching/stealing incidents, out of the total 40 reported incidents. In one of the incidents, Fayyaz Ahmad was shot injured in Shahdra Police limits.
The Cantt Division Police was on third number with 41 reported incidents, including theft/snatching of six cars and five motorcycles. Baghbanpura Police also gave robbers a free hand to commit crimes.
