Militants destroy one more school in Mohmand
GHALANAI: As reported by the Dawn News on Thursday, another government-run school was blown up while two security personnel were injured in a roadside blast in Mohmand tribal region on Wednesday. Residents said that militants planted explosives at the government primary school for boys and house of peace committee member Jamal Shah in Qillagai village of tehsil Safi. The explosives went off with a bang and destroyed both the buildings, they added.
The school was built on the property of Malak Aziz Khan, who, according to political administration was responsible for its protection. Two security men received injuries in a roadside blast in Musa Kor area of tehsil Ambar. The security personnel were patrolling on foot when one of them stepped on a landmine, which exploded and injured two of them. The injured were taken to hospital in Ghalani.
