Lahore: 2 drug dealers jailed
LAHORE: As reported by The News on Friday, the Additional District and Sessions Judges on Thursday convicted two drug pushers nominated in two different narcotics cases. Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Muhammad Azam has awarded a two-year confinement with a fine of Rs 20,000 for convict Ameer on being found him guilty of possessing 1006 grams of hashish. Manga Mandi Police had arrested accused Amir and recovered the hashish from his possessions. In case of default in payment of fine, the convict will further undergo imprisonment for 15 days.
Meanwhile, District and Sessions Judge Ajmal Hussain has awarded a six-month jail term along with a fine of Rs 10,000 to convict Asif, as he was proved guilty of possessing 410 grams of hashish. As per details, Ravi Road Police had arrested accused Asif in March. The court said that convict Asif would undergo a confinement of seven days further in case of default in payment of the fine.
