Lahore: Dispute over shop led to fatal shooting
LAHORE: As reported by The News on Friday, a 30-year-old man was shot dead over a shop dispute in the jurisdiction of Lower Mall police on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Imran, a resident of the Peer Makki Darbar area. Police said a dispute over a shop property had been going on between the victim and Ijaz for the past few months.
On Thursday, the matter was to be resolved by a meeting of locals of the area but before it was held, Ijaz’s two accomplices Billo and Badshah went to Imran’s house and shot fires at him when he came out of his house. Imran sustained severe bullet wounds and was removed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Later, police shifted the body to morgue for autopsy and registered a case of murder against Ijaz and his two accomplices on the complaint of the deceased’s elder brother Abdul Hafeez with no arrest till the filing of this report.
