Lahore: Court grants interim bail to woman
LAHORE: As reported by The News on Tuesday, the District and Sessions Court on Monday granted an interim bail to a woman namely Lubna who was detained by Chuhang Police. According to case details, Muhammad Akhtar, a resident of Sabzi Mandi Lahore, had filed a habeas corpus petition alleging that SHO Chuhang raided the house of his relatives Lubna Bibi and Qamar Abbas and abducted them.
He prayed before the court to recover both the detenues from the illegal detention of SHO Chuhang. On his plea, the court appointed Iqbal Chauhan as bailiff who raided the Chuhang Police Station where Mohrrar told him that Sub-Inspector Javaid had arrested Qamar and Lubna some days ago.
