Lahore: Man stabs mother-in-law to death for property
LAHORE: As reported by The News on Tuesday, a 55-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her son-in-law over property dispute in the jurisdiction of Lytton Road police on Monday. Police said the victim woman’s son-in-law Sadiq had been living in his in-laws’ house for the past few months. Accused Sadiq had been asking his mother-in-law to transfer her house in his name but she refused to do so. On the day of the incident, Sadiq again asked her to accept his demand but she refused. Upon this, Sadiq allegedly killed her with a sharp-edge weapon and fled from the crime scene.
